The International Association of Literary Semantics is associated with the Journal of Literary Semantics. This peer-reviewed journal is published twice a year by de Gruyter Mouton.
Founded by Trevor Eaton in 1972, the journal publishes articles that seek to advance our understanding of the structures, dynamics, and significations of literary texts, in the belief that such texts are a central, not a peripheral, concern of linguistics. This includes articles that relate the study of literature to other disciplines such as psychology, neurophysiology, mathematics, and history, as well as articles dealing with pedagogical issues related to the study of literature.
